RAW(view)

RAW opens with possibly the most distasteful part of the show. No tribute or picture or anything acknowledging the passing of Eddie "Umaga" Fatu. No class, but, it is pro wrestling.

RAW opens with this weeks host Mark Cuban coming into the ring from his ringside seats. Cuts a promo about how good it is to be on RAW. He then talks about how Cena and Sheamus will have a chance to say whatever they want to each other later in the show, then introduces Cena who is set to take on Carlito.

Cena v. Carlito
Carlito is in much better shape than he was the last time he was on TV regularly, which has been a few months now. Solid opener, not the squash you would expect, but not changing Carlito past jobber status anytime soon either. Finish shows Sheamus coming out and Cuban bringing security down to stop him from attacking Cena, Carlito goes for the Backstabber only to catch an FU from Cena.

Legacy is coming out. Orton gets on the mic and starts telling Cuban about how he demands his championship ban be lifted. When Cuban refuses DiBiase plays a clip from Survivor Series 2003 that shows Cuban getting an RKO from Orton. All this does is anger Cuban, who puts Orton into a match with Kofi later in the match, he also named himself the special referee. He then tells Ted and Cody to get ready cause they have a match.... With Evan Bourne and Primo.

Primo and Bourne v. Legacy
Typical match, not alot to say. These four guys really could be company future if they would get off the SSDD routine. Bourne pulled off a sweet double knee move on DiBiase. End saw Bourne getting hit with Dream Street and pinned for the three.

Before Legacy gets a chance to celebrate Cuban has them ejected from the arena.

Divas match, Maryse is still back. I miss Mickie James and Trish Stratus.

DX is cutting their holiday schilling promo backstage and referencing Star Wars when Hornswoggle interrupts and hilarity ensues.

Match time...

Kofi v. Orton (Special ref Mark Cuban)
Very good back and forth between these two, the chemistry is insane and the way they work together is awesome, Orton is really helping to push Kofi to the next level. End sees Kingston with a rollup and Cuban make the fast count.

After this, Cuban announces Kofi v. Orton for Sundays PPV.

Miz v. Mark Henry (US Title match)
Henry dominates a lot of the match. Miz moves out of the way of the big moves. End happens when Miz goes for a flying cross body, is caught and as Henry goes for the Worldests Strongest Slam, Miz counters into a DDT for the win.

Comedic match with Hornswoggle and Chavo sees Chris Masters start making a face turn, after he makes his man boobs dance (true story).

Jericho v. DX
This match takes very little time for a breakdown and the ref to get knocked out. Big Show comes down and DX gets destroyed with ladders and chairs. Segment ends with Jericho standing on the ladder holding the title belts.

Final segment sees Mark Cuban try and have a conference with Cena and Sheamus, which eventuall breaks down and sees Sheamus attack Cena and Mark Cuban, show ends after Sheamus puts Mark Cuban through a table and is chased off by some of his basketball players.

Overall, not a bad show. Not as good as a few weeks back but a fairly solid show. Next week the WWE brings back the Slammy Awards and Dennis Miller is our host.

Til then,

Suss
