RAW(view)

Tonight just had a fun show, as opposed to last week. That was so bad I couldn't even bother doing a write up.

Show opens with Johnny Damon coming out and talking about running RAW. I wasn't paying alot of attention here. Then he set up a 6 Diva tag-match.

Only real note of this match with the women was that Kelly Kelly is easily one of the most impressive women wrestlers in years. Not kidding, she seems genuinely interested in getting better in the ring and she is young which is a plus for her as well.

Start of the Little People's Court segment begins with HHH and HBK talking and being directed towards the ring, they go under the ring to Hornswoggles home and of course they end up in a hallway making jokes about how they had no idea how big it was under there.

They enter a mock court room and there are little people as the bailiff, jury, and judge. Hornswoggle comes out and shows Exhibit A of various harassment DX has done to him, we are then told that the conclusion will come later.

Back from commercial and we head to the ring...
Orton, Rhodes, and DiBiase v. Kingston, Evan Bourne, and Mark Henry
Kinda sucks they pulled the plug on the Orton/Kofi feud so quickly, had real potential and they were doing a great job building up Kofi. A lot of good back and forth here with both Henry and Bourne playing the face in peril, end of the match sees Kingston hit Trouble in Paradise on DiBiase for the pinfall win.

Backstage we get Damon hanging out with some talent in a Christmas themed lounge, Carlito ends up flirting with a diva who doesn't appreciate it, this leads "Santa" to put him in a match with Chris Masters, Santa and Damon end up under the mistletoe and it is shown that Santa is Sgt. Slaughter, who ends the segment by saying "don't ask, don't tell."

We're back the Little People's Court, shows the clip where HHH gave Hornswoggle a pedigree, this causes anger. The little people chase DX out of the room and eventually they get scared enough to run backstage.

Back from commercial and back to the ring.
John Cena v. Jack Swagger
Swagger brought his A game to this match, knowing he was going to lose but he put on a performance that actually made you believe he had a chance of winning this match. Solid back and forth match, ending sees Swagger miss a second rope splash and tap out in the STF.

Santa #2 backstage with Damon and MVP, obviously this one is Dusty Rhodes, Damon sets up a match with Sheamus and MVP later in the show.

Back from break...
Chris Masters v. Carlito, third time was a charm, Masters wins with the full nelson.

Backstage we have a guy in a tiger suit "flirting" with two divas, eventually a woman runs in with a golf club and chases him out (true story). Miz begins talking to Santa #3, Miz runs down his list of wants for Christmas before being told that he can be audited and Santa #3 is none other than IRS... There is a blast from the past.

Match 4
Sheamus v. MVP, sad to see MVP fall so far, he really deserves a push and just got obliterated instead. End sees Sheamus hit the Outsider Edge and win. Cena comes out afterwards and challenges him to a rematch for the title that Cena lost at the ppv last weekend. Sheamus backs away.

Backstage McMahon and Damon are talking when Damon makes a title match for RAW next week, Cena v. Sheamus. I see Cena winning the strap back and going into the next decade as champ.

Match 5
Miz v. "Santa"ino Marella
Very funny match as Santino wrestled in full Santa getup. End sees Santino miss a second rope flying punch and Miz his finisher for the win.

Final segment sees Big Show callout Santa. Santa asks what Show wants for Christmas, he requests that Jericho be put back on RAW to which Santa agrees, this brings out..... Hornswoggle who de-beards Santa to show us that it was Jericho, an army of little people dressed in DX garb all come out and are tossed around by Show and Jericho who eventually corner Hornswoggle who is ready to take them on, this brings out DX who clear the ring, then it is made offical... Hornswoggle is officially the DX mascot, show sends everyone home happy with a crotch chop from all three guys.

Overall a fun show, not a lot of greatness here but a good show to watch.

Til next week,

Suss
