Made for around $50,000, directed by three separate people, and filmed over 13 days. Finished in time to be apart of Sundance in 2007, The Signal is more of a multiple tribute to versions of horror/b-movies. The movie takes drastic turns at each separate transmission, but they all mesh well and fit together.
